Skilled in scratching and beat juggling, with a solid command of music theory.
In live sets, I apply advanced mixing techniques such as Tone Play and Word Play, blending diverse musical styles to create dynamic and engaging performances. I have a strong ability to read and control the mood of the audience, ensuring every set resonates with the crowd.
I regularly tour across Russia and the CIS countries, including Belarus, Moldova, Armenia, and more. Currently a resident DJ at Lookin Rooms, Moscow, I am seeking new and challenging opportunities that will allow me to fully apply my skills, expand my experience, and grow further as an artist.

Experience & Residencies
DJ · Musician · Open Format · Turntablist
More than fifteen years behind the decks. From Moscow and touring across Russia to Dubai — connecting genres, reading the room and making people dance.
Early years
Finding his own sound
Inspired by a DJ at a school party at fifteen, David was making a living behind the decks by eighteen. Mashups, unexpected connections and Open Format became central to his sets.
Since 2016
Developing the craft
Scratching, beat juggling and tone play became a dedicated part of his practice alongside club DJing.
2019
A connection with Dubai
Dubai became a recurring destination for performances at private events.
End of 2022
Dubai becomes home
After regular visits since 2019, David relocated to Dubai permanently at the end of 2022.
2025
DMC Middle East — second place
Placed second in the DMC Middle East Open category.
2026
DMC Middle East Open Champion
In 2026, David Krec became the DMC Middle East Open Champion.
A battle routine is built around precision. A club set is about reading people and responding in real time. David brings both perspectives to his work — with the music and the audience at the centre.
